So we brought Kenji home on Sunday 24th Feb...

He's a pug btw.

He was sort of a birthday gift. 

He is the sweetest thing ever.

I had to pet proof my whole room cause of him coming. but it's good cause now my room is extra neat and clean.

1st day of Chinese new year 2013

So woke up... really early. no idea why. played some pokemon.

had standard red egg mee sua. this year was special. HAD ABALONE!!!

Cousins came over and chilled then we made our way to sar chek kong's place.
got to hangout with distant cousins. They're so adorable. ESPECIALLY SERAPHINA! so so so so cute and friendly!!

Then went over to aunty ben's house to wish the grandparents.
Finally to mom's for dinner.
dad came over too!!!

had fun! laughed and stuff. it's been awhile since my parents had a meal together with us.

Lunar new year dinner.

So we had the standard hokkien reunion dinner feast. minus the abalone cause everyone forgot about it. hahaha.... had a nice family chat afterward. enjoyed!

Lemon Tree

I'm trying to grow a lemon tree... 

I bought some lemons from cold storage and removed the seeds.

I did 2 batches. 

Apparently you can grow lemons in Singapore. 

I dont know how true but this will confirm it. hee

Steps:

1. Remove seeds from lemon

2. Peel the husk off

3. Using finger nail, carefully remove the skin from the seed

4. wet some paper towel and lay the seeds on the paper towel

5. Put it all in a zip lock bag

6. Put it in the sun but ensure that it stays moist

7. WAIT
